Tanya Malhotra is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer with a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She uses material explorations and technological machinery as a means to create work that blurs the lines between Art and Design. She is interested in creating functional work that solves a problem or questions one. During her time at SAIC, Malhotra has been recognised for her academic excellence and leadership qualities. By being an elected Student Government representative as well as a Campus Coordinator, Orientation Leader and Teaching Assistant, Malhotra has amassed the necessary skills of communication and collaboration that help her as a designer.
